Abigail Nicholson

Kind. Calm. Safe

Abigail earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grace College in 2014. She has over a decade of experience working with clients from all backgrounds in community mental health. Abigail enjoys creating a safe space for people to feel seen and heard regardless of belief or identity. She recognizes the vulnerability and power of authenticity and loves seeing the changes it can create in oneself, one’s relationships, and one’s world. She believes that “attention is the rarest and purest form of generosity” and enjoys providing that gift to clients. If it’s important to you, it’s important to her. Abigail is comfortable with kids, teens (some of her favorites!), and adults. She identifies areas of competence in depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, women’s health, autism, and identity needs. When not in the office, you’ll find Abigail drinking tea, baking treats, and having fun with her sons and husband (and cat, but only if the cat allows).
